I designed and made this originally as part of a commissioned group project making props and shop fronts for a wizard themed escape room. I sculpted it out of plastiline, separating the crystal from the body of the wand. Then I moulded both parts in silicone & cast the body of the wand in fast cast & the crystal in pigmented clear resin. I did the detail on the wand with Milliput and finally painted it to give the appearance of two different types of wood. The original went to the client, I made this one for myself as the theme is a passion of mine.
