White Heart

This heart was part of a commission Sculpture Studios had, to make 26 giant fibreglass hearts for St Catherine's Hospice Heart to Heart charity art trail. While working there I did a lot of the work on this one.

I did the fibreglassing with Jess in one of the moulds they had already made.

Once it was out of the mould I secured the two halfs together by fibreglassing the join line on the inside.

I filled the seam line on the outside and sanded it smooth.

I finally gave it a coat of white paint.
